DLR Ticket Question

DH doesn't want to buy tickets until we are at the DLR gate. I was in agreement with this until I realized we would be risking lines. Should we buy in advance? I'm thinking yes; just wanting to confirm.

I would.
Purchase them online, and then you can take the e-ticket right to the turnstiles. I personally prefer not to wait in a line I do not have to.

Absolutely--if you know you are going, buy in advance--the lines can get very long!

If you are staying on site, you can also purchase them when you check in at the front desk.

It's probably a little late now, but there might still be some ticket media available at the old prices. Haven't checked my local Safeway gift card rack for awhile, but there's a slim chance for saving a little money.
