DLR is closing early today (1/18/10)

Sherry, thanks for letting us know about the impending rain...we've had a break from the rain for a bit this afternoon. We are currently staying at GCH and are planning to stay indoors this evening ( the kids love storytime!).

We've been here since Saturday and although its been raining on and off since Monday, we've been having a really great time. We've been finding that that the mornings are usually dry and the rain doesn't really start pouring till noon...so we've been making the most of it and trying to get as many rides in as possible.

And its quite cute to see all the ducks on the path ways!

We are planning to head to Legoland tomorrow so hope the weather clears up for tomorrow.

Those ducks floating around are really cute! They don't know the water is not supposed to be there in the street - they are just happy to have a new lake to swim in!!

Yes, this would be a perfect night to go into the GCH hearth area and sit by the fire with a warm beverage! I am glad you have been having a great time! The rain has been inconsistent enough where that people can get things done during the less torrential hours!! It is pouring at times, like NOW, but it eases up for little chunks of time and then picks up again later.

Okay, I only heard one thunder clap so far, and saw one flash of lightning. Maybe that will be it for that part of the storm, I hope!
