DLR Fastpass Question (WoC & others)

Hi everyone,

I'm going to DLR for the first time in December. I've read about families sending one person out from the hotel to pick up fastpasses for their group. Can this only be done if everyone in the group has used their ticket that day already? Or just if the ticket has been activated at all (like for a multi-day ticket)?

I will be going w/ my sister who is attending a conference in Anaheim. She will be in and out of conference activities during the day, but I would love to get us both fastpasses for the evening during her free time. In particular, it sounds like WoC fastpasses need to picked up first thing in the morning.

Can I go in w/ our 2 tickets and get both of us fastpasses even though she would have not entered the parks yet that day w/ her ticket? (She will have activated her 4-day pass already by the time I try this).

I could see why they wouldn't want people using un-activated tickets to get extra fastpasses, so maybe my idea of getting her passes won't work. But I thought I'd ask....'cause they can't hit me!

Yes both park tickets will need to be used to enter a park, either one, on the day you want FPs.

If you are familiar with FPs you will know that you can't get one right after that other. But WoC is totally separate from the ride FP system.

When you can get a WoC FP varies. It depends mostly on how many shows they are having that evening. Going first thing in the morning will just get you the best viewing area for the earliest show.

Note since summer ended there is only one WoC showing on weeknights, 2 on Friday-Sunday.

As an easy alternative you can order online WoC picnics that you can pick up during the day without her. I did this and took them back to my hotel to stick in the fridge and eat later.

Wow, so they have WoC fast passes as well? I haven’t been to DCA since they started the WoC, so I didn’t know this...

Sorry OP I don’t mean to hijack your topic, but I am curious as to how to get these as well! Is it smart to go to DCA when it opens to get these passes? And where are they available?
