Hello all! I have not been to DLR since 1998 and it was only a day trip while visiting family in the area. Have been sticking to WDW as it is much closer, however, WDW requires quite a bit more planning than DLR it seems as dining ressies can only be made 60 days in advance and tours only 30 days in advance. My question is, we have booked a 4 day trip through small world vacations at a good neighbor hotel. Is it possible to make ressies for the entire trip, or will it have to be day to day? WDW allows for up to 10 days from the 180 mark if staying on property. We are planning to do breakfast at Ariel's grotto, F! dinner package at Blue Bayou, WOC dinner package at Carthay Circle and Napa Rose for our "California" anniversary dinner.
TIA!!

DLR does not have anything like the 180+10 feature that WDW offers (for on-site or off-site guests). So you would need to make reservations one day at time when the day comes open. That being said, ADRs are generally far easier to get at DLR, so you often do not have to be online right on the 60-day mark to get the reservation you want.

DLR is much more laid back than WDW, and dining ressies aren't nearly as hard to come by. Also, your dates in September (going from your other thread) should be a pretty quiet time. I would just wait until your whole trip opens up and then book everything at once. I wouldn't even be concerned about waiting until the 30 day mark so that you can book your tour at the same time.

On our trip last September I waited until we arrived at DLR to book the tour and was able to get exactly what I wanted 3 days out. I have also booked lunch at BB at about 30 days out and gotten exactly the time and day that I wanted.

Concur. Our last trip had a large group. I made ADRs hoping to avoid trouble, but user error got the better of me on the website. Somehow, I didn't note the kids. I called the day of and they were able to accommodate us 30 min after our original reservation. Even in DTD last July, we were able to get a table for 12 with only a 30 min wait. It's free to reserve, so I would, but I wouldn't stress on it.

Wow! I'm already looking forward to having "normal" FP back. Thanks everyone. Our park dates are 9/11-14th
