Why can't I make ressie's for July of 2006? Expedia has rooms available for that time why not the official site?

When and where are you trying to book as I can get on web site.
It might be that you have pop up windows disabled. You will need to allow this to proceed with a booking.

I can get to the page to book online but when I type in July 17, 2006 (our date of arrival) and staying for whatever number of nights it does not offer me a package yet will not allow me to continue w/o picking one?!

I can get on but that is having picked the UK option of origin country. Not sure why it will not work for you :confused3

Same here - I can get on with UK as country of origin but not USA. If you want I can get on and find info for you if you like such as which packages are available and cost etc.

Wow, if you really don't mind!

Could you price one deluxe, one mod and one value for July 17 staying for 4 nights. Two adults and two children. Ultimately I'm going to need two rooms unless I can get a suite that sleep 5. I'd love to stay at Disneyland Hotle but not if I have to reserve two rooms.

You seem like an expert on the subject. Where would you suggest staying. We prefer Deluxe at WDW and have stayed at the Grand Californian in DL. We don't need posh but I don't think we would like value.

Thanks so much! :goodvibes

My pleasure!!!
These are the prices I got:
Disneyland Hotel (deluxe) £1816
Hotel New York (deluxe) £1242
Newport Bay Club (moderate) £1102
Sequoia Lodge (moderate) £ 1030
Cheyenne (value) £946

If you don't mind my asking, if the 5th member of your group is a baby you could have a crib in your room as well as 2 double beds.

I wouldn't say I was an expert but it sounds like the Disneyland Hotel would suit you - but the Hotel New York and Newport Bay Club are pretty upmarket and near to the parks. We like the Sequoia Lodge too.

Ask any more questions - glad to help!!

Thanks for checking for me. I think we will be going with a moderate or value. This is just a small part of our month long trip to UK/France/Germany. We will be watching our budget more so than usual.

Our youngest is 5. I guess we will end up booking two connecting rooms. I still love the idea the Davy Crockett Ranch but we won't be driving while there. Being able to walk to the resort is my biggest priority.

Thanks again. All advice greatly welcomed and needed!!!

You could hire a car just for that part of your stay, then you could do Davy Crockett. Having said that, I'm not brave enough!
