I enjoyed reading your TR. Your enthusiasm and love for Disney really shines through and even things that went a bit awry didn't get you down. :goodvibes

Just googled the tesco holiday card...you might want to check this link out...

Uhoh! That doesn't look good, my sis used it in Mallorca in July but we will phone and check what the situation is. Thanks for the link.
Just waiting for share dealing account to be set up then I'll buy my shares. Might wait a couple of weeks for the prices to go down but don't want to leave it to long as I want to be certain I'll have my card in time.

Thank you for your kind feedback. I loved writing my TR, and this year's November trip threatens an even longer one lol. Thinking of taking my laptop this year and writing it as I go along...

No problem :-)
I reckon the prices went up (although arguably, minimally) last week as people were making use of the free buying. I got mine for just over £68. I think you would still be able to get them for around £80 (fee inclusive) if you keep checking the prices everyday. I found it helpful to look at the graph as they can fluctuate a fair bit throughout the day as well.
Have you ever considered investing in AP's? I don't know whether an AP (Dream) and a room only holiday (SH discount of 20%) would work out better than just going with a discounted package...

I would love to need an AP but with just one trip a year it wouldn't be worth it for me. One day, hopefully! Might be worth it for you though?
We got HNY at 40% off this year and last year, pretty pleased with that :)

I would go all the time if I could!! The amount I pay to holiday (at other times of the year) in the UK sometimes, I think I could've gone to Disney instead. It is always a bit of a trek as we have to (well, I have to!) drive from Cornwall to Dover then from Calais to Disney. However, I don't mind if I stay on site as I haven't got to drive whilst I'm there. I tried calling Disney to check the room only prices, but gave up after being stuck in a queue for 20 minutes. I will try again at some point. I don't know that I can warrant £400 + for AP's at the moment so I will just stick to the SH discount on a 1 day 1 park ticket, for October at least. Tempted to buy in a Disney shop over here though. Less hassle. I remembered seeing the queues for tickets last time, and it was horrendous. I've checked attractiontix site but you don't save very much if at all, plus they only do the hopper tickets on there.
SO how long are you going to HNY for in November? Christmas season, I expect is very magical...?!

I've only ever been in September, so we're very very excited about Christmas season. We're going for 5 nights  plus a couple of days in london beforehand visiting my cousins.
If I lived in London I'd be over on the Eurostar every weekend :rotfl:
