Telling you lot this cos DH doesn't want me going on about it to him (too busy working). So hope you don't mind me sounding off.

Last evening when l was on this board my DD(9) was also in DLP mode and looked out our precious photos of our last trip to DLP in Oct. 2001 which we have in a DLP album.

She and her DB(2) were watching a DVD in our tv room, next door to where the computer is. Aforementioned DD gives her DB the album to look at without telling me, then leaves him to play with it himself! DB then proceeds to pull several pages out of the photo album, before we prize it off him. Have been able to repair (kind of) the DLP album.

Fortunately none of the actual photos got torn/damaged. As you can imagine l was a bit :sad1: but managed to stay calm - it was partly my fault after all - l should have been keeping a closer eye on them, that'll teach me! (They're safely asleep in bed now, while l'm typing this).

This morning DD wakes us up at 4:30am (yes 4:30) to tell us that she has prepared breakfast - toast, croissants, cereal - the lot - for us and it's ready downstairs. She says she couldn't sleep (new school term, looking forward to seeing her friends). Oh the joys of parenthood. :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Ah but you love them anyway ;)
Thank goodness the photos were not damaged :)

Well, as my 2 are in their 20s I can react to this with an "aw, bless them" but if I had been you I think my reaction might have been a little more frantic!!! At least you know they weren't deliberately being naughty or destructive - just being children!! :sunny:Well done on staying calm!!!! As for the rather early breakfast, that really was sweet - but then again it wasn't me that got woken up half way through the night!!! ;) BTW - are you quite sure they're safely tucked up in bed????? :rotfl:

When I woke my parents up at 4.30am it was usually to say I'd been sick! So be grateful for small mercies I suppose!

Very pleased to hear the photos weren't damaged at least :)

Ditto, in my house!!!Either that or that warm feeling  - have any of your kids managed that one!!!

Really glad the photos weren't damaged - they are so precious!

Although 4.30 isn´t my breakfast time either, I think it is really nice to prepare breakfast for the parents (if clean up the Kitchen doesn´t take hours afterwards).

Great that you rescued the photos. My Motto is always: Keep a backup of all the data you love.

You forget so quickly how they are when they are very little. :confused3 :confused3

Enjoy the good moments and try to look on the bright side. The photos arent ripped and you can always get another album later if it is really bad. The disney store has a sale they sent me an e.mail to tell me this morning - like I needed tempting
