Someone mentioned that the stores in DLP have a sale until mid Feb. I get very excited about the thought of sale shopping - are they any good? What types of things are usually in the sale?

Thanks!

I got back last Thursday :sad1: and the sales had started.

It depends on what you are looking for but for me they didn't have a great deal in the sale, a few Christmas bits (baubles mainly) some 2011 dated stuff, some clothes in the Disney boutique, and a few other bits and pieces.
I picked up a tea towel for my Mum reduced to 2 euros and some coasters(same price) but there wasn't anything else that interested me.

The best stocked bits for the sale seemed to bit the shop in on the left hand side just as you go in the Studios gates.

Hope that helps. :goodvibes

When we went in March 2010 there were two particular shops that had most of the sale stuff in. One was by the entrance but I don't recall which the 2nd was.

Most of the sale stuff was leftover stock branded with the 2009-2010 Mickeys Magical Party theme that had just finished. I bought a mug to make my tea in (we were provided a kettle but forgot to take cups!) and a Stitch with headphones on which I think was part of the MMP merchandise too.

In the main store in the Village we saw last Saturday mini snowglobes and pillboxes (2011 themed) for 2€ and 5€ but can't remember which was which :confused3

Blank notebooks for 4€ with characters on, these had hard covers so were nice and solid. Picture frames with princesses on, again around the 5€ mark

Lots of clothes for small children in the shop next to Disney Fashion again in the Village.

Nothing bought though as we don't need anything but it's harder resisting at the shops at Val d'Europe as I found again this afternoon :lmao:

Well DD is very small - so hope we can get some clothes bargains for her! Things like notebooks, snowglobes etc. sound just like our DD dream, and if they are cheap it will keep her and us happy! LOL!
