I just wanted to tell you all that despite the negative press it sometimes gets, Disneyland Paris is beautiful and fun. If you are planning to take your kids an a European trip, go ahead and schedule 2-4 days at DLP. It was a great break for my kids between days of museums, cathedrals, etc.

Let me second that opinion. We had a wonderful time at DLP when we visited in 1997. Paris was beautiful. The cathedrals of Europe were outstanding. The windmills and fields of tulips in Holland were breathtaking. But a two day break at DLP was like icing on the cake.

Oh, I thougt this thread was about DIGITAL LIGHT PROCESSING (DLP) which is a new technology in Televisions. :p

It wasn't DLP I didn't like, it was the people! Luckily, I was with relatives who live in France so it made up for those who were rude.

I also love the cathedrals, museums & the famous Eiffel Tower! Did you take the boat tours down the Seine? What a gorgeous city! Glad you had a great time. WDW will seem really inexpensive now too, won't it?? :p

That sounds nice!

If you don't mind, was in kindof like MK only? Are there parts of Epcot/MGM/AK or the water parks there?

About how much time is enough?

I too thought of DLP tv's:teeth: Actually I don't mind hearing about DLP the park, or tvs. It's all good::yes::

My niece went for a long weekend last year and loved it.
It was her first time to a Disney park too. :)

We spent 2 days at DLP. We arrived in Paris on a Saturday and left Sunday (9 days). We were at DLP on Tuesday, and WDS on Thursday. Your ticket to WDS lets you enter DLP during the last 3 hours the park is open. We "did it all" during those 2 days, but the crowds were light and the first day was pretty intense. Three days there would be pretty nice. The Disneyland Park is closest to Disneyland in California, with some rides that I think are at other parks at WDW. Walt Disney Studios is a bit like MGM, but has only 2 actual rides; the rest are shows/attractions. Folks have complained about that, but it was sure nice on our feet to be able to sit down for 20-30 minutes at a time!

The parks/grounds are physically just beautiful.

Check out my trip report on the Disneyland Paris forum.
