Has anyone been this time of year and can let me know what its like crowd and weather wise. we are planning on going 20th march - 25th march (4 nights, plus we intend to spend a day or so in paris, also does any one know what the park hours are aproximatly as they are not listed on disney site as yet, and are they likely to have rides shut this time of year??

also is disney village worth going, ie buffalo bills, and would we be ok to book this when we are there, or is it best to advance book.

has anyone else been to the spa at one of the disney hotels as well? whats it like?

I've been once in march, but it was a bit of a freak weather year so can't really comment on crowds or weather much. I'd go again in march though for the weather we had.

Thick snow and almost blizzards with a wind chill of -10 or something crazy. Kept the queues short, and whenever we got cold, we popped to Pirates for a few goes to warm back up.
As a general rule I think it may be a bit cold and crisp in march, but as long as you wrap up its not too much of a deal in my opinion.

I think the park was open till 7pm when I went in march, but it was a few years back.

Buffalo Bills i'd recommend at least once, i love it, some people don't. But it gets lively, lots of crowd shouting and stamping, banging cutlery on the tables and things, you get a free cowboy (or cowgirl :) ) hat out of it too! In march i think you can get away with booking it when you are there, but if i remember right there is a discount if you book it at the same time as your stay.

Can't comment on the spa's i'm afraid.

We went in March last year but Easter was in march so we were there the week of Easter Mondy but only arrived on Tuesday if you see what I mean. It wasnt too busy but French schools werent off.
There is a link to school holidays in the FAQ it may be worth looking there - French holidays are split into 3 zones so check them all.
Easter is later this year so I dont think it will be too bad however the park will probably close at 7ish.

Theres not a lot ni Disney Village but worth a look especially if the parks close early - you can book B Bills when there ( we did in March) but it is cheaper to book in advance. However the tickets are non refundable. Also it may not be open every night in low season

I would recommend looking at the Trip Report sticky at the top of the board and look at some Trip Reports from March this year, that should give you a bit of an idea.... :goodvibes

I've twice in March. In 2005 I was there on 9th March. It was very cold. They had had snow a few days previous. The waterfall at Skull Rock was still frozen - if that gives you an indication of how cold it was. I was also there in March 2006, around the middle of the month. It was not as cold, but you still needed your hats & scarf.

I think that was the year I went, and yeah, every bit of water including the lake had frozen. What surprised me though was that all the rides carried on working, and BTM in the snow is a really enjoyable experience, just as long as you don't have to many exposed areas!

That's great news! I was worrying cold weather might shut down BTM in our January trip.

Yeah, we went on BTM with scarfs above out noses and hats pulled down after the first time when we came off the ride and our entire face had gone numb!

When i went for the day in March it was chilly but at times took my coat off. Then again anything would of been warmer in January :)
