Greetings, gang. We are planning a 3 day DLP stop during our Paris trip in Jan of 2024. Does anyone have any experience with the parks around that time of year? Should we expect shorter hours or fewer outdoor entertainment offerings? Are the characters still in holiday/winter gear? Any MUST do dining or events?

Thanks for the help!

You should expect shorter hours and rides closed for refurbishment. It depends how early in January you go if they will be in holiday clothes. Christmas ends Jan 8th at DLP.

Pack accordingly. It's gonna be cold. Especially when waiting for fireworks and parades.
There are no events planned. Must do... depends on what you aim for. Dining in Disneyland Paris is not on par with WDW or DL. If you want great French food find places in Paris in not-touristy areas.
In my opinion it's overpriced and tend to avoid table service in the park. But, people seem to enjoy Remy's, Captain Jack's and Walt's the most. Also keep in mind, table service dining in France is not rushed.

Thanks for the replies.

We are coming from Minnesota in the US, so the weather won't really phase us. I had heard that in park dining wasn't great, so since this will be the end of our Paris trip we were planning on doing lighter fare in Disney Village as needed.

The food is fine, for themepark food. My aim is just to lower expectations of WDW/DL fans because it's different over here. If you expect little, the food gets better ;-)

Look for the quirky parts! It's a great park but it's different from WDW. Don't even try and compare it! Enjoy the surprises. Hopefully you catch the end of Xmas! I think you will find Small world will still be closed.
