hi all, (been a while)

Jackie and I have finally set a date for our wedding (17th Nov) and have decided that there is nowhere better to go for our honeymoon than Disney!! :cool1:

Anyway, I'm going to be booking the Cheyenne for 4 nights/5 days (taking advantage of the 2 extra days) which for us is a treat in itself as we usually do a 2n/3d!

I was wondering if anyone can suggest anything extra special for whilst we're there? I was thinking of taking her to Inventions for the fantastic breakfast they do and again there for an evening meal on the Tuesday (which will be our 10th "anniversary")

Anything help would be great!! :thumbsup2

Cheers
Matt

Congratulations!!!

I love Inventions so would be more than happy with spending an anniversary meal there ::yes:: also IMO Blue Lagoon is a very romantic setting or else how about California Grill? Not tried it yet myself but would like to - although I worry I'd feel I was missing out on the characters next door! :rotfl2:

Hi Matt!

DL Paris? How wonderful! DH and I went just before he proposed Jan 2011. Fun!

We ate at the Blue Lagoon restaurant (same idea as Blue Bayou at DL) inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Yum! I don't know if they take reservations ahead of time, but we got there around 11am and couldn't get seating until almost 6pm, they were already packed for the day!

I'd suggest CG for dinner instead of Inventions.

Much more peaceful and romantic. :)

We had a bottle of the 20th Anniversary hose Rose in Inventions. Get in early (6PM) and you can choose your table

Hi all, thanks for your replies, certainly given me some food for thought! I've read a couple of "chancer email" threads, and was wondering how successful people have been these?

Some people are sprinkled with pixie dust, others aren't. You've got absolutely nothing to lose by letting them know, so good luck. pixiedust:

If you send a chancer and go expecting nothing well then any extra is a bonus. We didn't get sprinkled but then I had only booked the room for 1ad as we had 2 tickets and I added DH at check in. You can also say it if your ringing in advance to book restaurants and I would tell EVERY CM I meet too just on the off chance.
I would also recommend doing a park tour. We booked one while on our honeymoon and were the only two so it made it special. You get SHC discount and a pin at the end and our guide, Ann Sophie was lovely.
