DLP First timer -some questions

Got so many questions, just trying to figure out where to ask them. Going to be in DLP 3rd December with Hubby and grandson (aged 3). Not telling him we are going till the morning we set out cause he wont sleep till we go. staying at Newport bay and arriving by train. How do i get from the station to the hotel? I need to book character meals, can i do it online? And where are the best character meals at?

You can walk to hotel from the station, through the village it takes about 10 minutes or you can get a free shuttle but these can be crowded sometimes.

You can't book dining online you need to call for reservations the number is 00-33-1-60-30-40-50. Can't help with character dining as I have never done it. Hopefully someone will be along to help.

As it's your first visit and with luggage I would get the shuttle bus to the hotel on arrival. Turn left as you exit the station and the bus stands are all in a row, just look for the Newport Bay one. The number to call for reservations is 0033160304050. Once you're settled in the walk along lake disney and through the village to the parks is lovely, particularly if you have a buggy.

Sorry, missed second question! There are less character meals than there used to be. Cafe Mickey is probably the best and most reasonably priced, you get the main characters and the menu is good. Look on dlrp magic if you want to see the menus. Inventions buffet is supposed to be fabulous, but very expensive or Auberge de Cendrillon for princesses, but again very expensive.

Hi, would second everything already said, but just wanted to add the Rainforest cafe for the little one. I know it's not character dining but all our kids right through from small to now grown up enjoy the atmosphere in there :]. The pool at NPB is good too, and they had this balloon blowing machine in September at the little play area across from check in...hope it's still there for you, a three year old would love it!
