My sister is going to DLP for the first time with her two young daughters and she'd like to do a character breakfast or lunch or tea - however she is staying at the Explorers. Is she entitled to do the Fantasyland Breakfast?

Also, what characters appear at the Plaza Gardens? Where would be the best place to meet a princess at the Disneyland park?

Thanks!

Eloise

Guests staying at the Explorers are not entitled to do the Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast - but it isn't a character breakfast anyway.

Here is a link to all the character meals available and the prices. :)

Thanks Becky! Great link! :thumbsup2

Have you been to the breakfast or tea? What characters are there? Any princesses? I do hope so, my nieces will LOVE it!

I haven't done any character meals at DLP - but I aim to rectify this on my next visit with my two DDs!! Unfortunately there isn't a character meal where you can meet any of the princesses. :sad2: :confused3 But there are specific times to see in princesses in the park - and also in the Disneyland Hotel, I think. Other people may be able to give you those times. :)

We have been quite a few times but never done a character meal. DD will be nearly two this time when we go so we are going to try Cafe Mickey.

Everyone seems to agree that this is a good option - good food and plenty of character interaction. No princesses but Mickey and the gang.

i would recommend Cafe Mickey anyday to people.

You sit at your table - have your dinner and the characters come round to each individual table.

These stupid parents were letting their children go up to the characters when they were at other people's tables - but the characters kind of shooed them away until it was there turn.

last week we got mickey, tigger, giddeon and the best Goofy EVER - he got a kiss from this young woman then collapsed on the floor, then he emptied out her handbag, put her umbrella up then walked about in a 'laydee' way with her bag.

He then was having a cheering competition between both sides of the restaurant - brilliant.

if there isn't a orgainised queue to meet the characters - i wouldn't bother - it is a free for all and VERY hectic.

Def. do cafe mickey for your meet and greets - have fun! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :woohoo: :woohoo:

last week at the side of the castle it was roped off to meet the disney princesses from 10 am until 12 pm i think - it was a line and there was a stage where you walked up to meet them.

a word of warning - the queues were huge. so maybe start queuing from 9.00 onwards - if you really want to meet them.

(walking past - i saw cinderella, snow white and belle)

(all the details are on the disneyland park map)

have fun!
:thumbsup2
