Just booked a last minute trip to DLP for next weekend. Staying at the Hotel New York with all the onsite privileges and I can't wait :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce

While we are there it will be DD's 7th Birthday and we were thinking of doing something special for her. Does anyone have any ideas??

I had heard that WDW give you a special badge and all the CM's have to wish you a happy birthday in the Magic Kingdom - does this happen in DLP too? If so, how do we go about it?

We've been to DLP before but not the new park so any do's/don't's would be appreciated.

you can pick up a badge at City Hall - it;'s in french, so it says some thing like 'bon anniversaire' but it had the desired effect!

We also got a birthday cake for katie - if you get it at the right resturant then the characters bring it out and they play a song and make a bit of a fuss. We saw them at some breakfasts, but didn't really fancy cake for breakfast. We also saw them at the Tea in frontierland, so that might be an option. We tried to have it at Innoventions in the Disneyland hotel and they don't do cakes there, so be sure to check when you book the cake.

If you have time/money then the wild west show in disney village is very good, but it is a bit pricey. We all really enjoyed it though, and Katie still talks about it.
