DLP 1st timer

Hi everyone. New to this site, but already gleamed loads of great info. I have a number of things I'd like advice on, but have been having problems finding the right threads to add to. When I search, within this forum it returns stuff for WDW as well .... DOH, probably me. Here goes but please redirect me if I should post somewhere else.

Visiting DLP 5-9th May with DH, DS(8), DD(5) DD(1) (is that the lingo!). Driving up and will arrive in early hours. What's the check in at NPB. It says after 3pm can you do any of the paperwork earlier, I read somewhere that you can they give you your key and a number to phone when the room is ready?

2 nights at NPB 2 nights at Val d'Europe (to save money). Booked through expedia without passes, no idea if we will get EMH having booked through expedia?

Can't find anything on official web site about timing of shows/parades. Any ideas.

Fastpasses. I fastpass per ride. Can you get another as soon as you get off. Did I read that expired passes work?? of course I wouldn't do that!!

You can try checking in before 3pm. If your room is not ready you'll be able to leave your cases and come back later

You can check in before 3pm but you probably won't get your room key before then. All you do is go back to reception after 3pm and they will issue it to you.

You will get EMH whilst you stay at NPB as it is all Disney Hotels which are offering it but when you change you will not be able to use it.

Parades and shows can be found: http://news.disneylandparis.co.uk/calendar/index.xhtml just click on the more section on the dates your staying.

Fastpasses can be held for one ride at a time, but I think your time slot has to expire before you can get another (someone can correct me if i'm wrong)

Yes, you can use the Extra Magic Hours when you stay at NPBC Hotel, no matter how you booked it.

One correction to the FastPass thing:
You can get one Fastpass for each ride at the same time. You can get a new Fastpass for the same ride when the previous fastpass becomes valid.
That means when your time window says "entrance between 10 and 10.30" you can get a new fastpass at 10.
