DLH sleeping for five

We have five people sharing a room for our October trip, however all the videos/pictures we've seen show two queen beds and that's it. No pullout/bunks. What is the sleeping configuration for five at the DLH?

Quite a few of the rooms (way more than at GCH) have the two queens and a day bed. Only one time that we've stayed there that we didn't get a room with a day bed (and that trip we only had 3 so it didn't matter).

I think many of the rooms have 2 queens + sleeper sofa. We had a "view" room in the Adventure tower in June and the room was SO nice & spacious!

The towers were built several years apart, and are not the same.

The concierge lounge is on the 11th (top) floor of the Adventure tower, so you should request that tower.
I had a 9th floor pool view concierge room a few years ago (post renovation), with 2 queens and a sleeper chair. The sleeper chair had a fold out single bed.

I think that all the club level rooms are now in the Adventure tower. If there are 5 on your reservation you will get a room that sleeps 5 (2 queens and either a couch or chair). They also have roll a ways that my grown kids say are really comfortable (plenty large for a adult). We stayed many times with only 5 on our reservations (the good ole days) and we always received 2 Queens and a couch. Have a great trip!!!

@whoever We usually have 5 when staying at the DLH and we've always been given a 2 queen/pull out room. I know you prefer the GCH, but be prepared to spin around the room like Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music. Room for dayyyyys compared to GCH!

I'll have to take a tape measure and take some measurements.. The rooms don't "look" much larger from the pics I've seen, but we'll see once we are there in person.

Yep, the two times we've been in a club level view room at DLH with 5 it's been two queens and a couch sleeper. And yeah, spacious rooms compaired to GCH. And the headboard...seriously it feels so magical in those rooms!

The rooms are about 30 sf larger. For us, it is a major difference. See the couch on the far right? The couch folds down to a long twin. My daughter (25) says it is quite comfy.

I notice that room has a couch AND a chair. Are the rooms in the Adventure tower larger than those in the Fantasy Tower? We are also a family of 5. We have always stayed in Frontier so would like to request one of the other towers this trip. We are booked in a deluxe view.

Yeah, only 30 sf bigger as @Malcon10t said doesn't seem much bigger when I think of it that way. But I swear, after staying there multiple times and then trying GCH, they seemed much larger. Not sure if the room layout made a difference, I've only stayed in a bunk room at GCH. They're not as small as people describe them, but with 5 people, it felt like

We recently stayed in a premium view, concierge level room in the Adventure Tower, tenth floor. We had two queen beds and a sofa bed. The room officially slept five people.

I don't find the rooms at DLH to be much more spacious than GCH, but they tend to seem like it because they're so much brighter. The large windows with no overhang blocking the light makes them seem bigger. The extra square footage is nice, don't get me wrong, but they certainly aren't a world apart from the GCH rooms. One thing about DLH rooms that I don't prefer is that there is no separate vanity outside the bath like there is at GCH. With 5 people, it's very nice to be able to have that vanity with sink and outlets for getting ready while others are in the shower or loo. I'm unusual in that I don't find the theming in the rooms at DLH to be a big deal. It's nice the first time but after that I just don't care about the light-up headboard or the music. I actually miss the big 4-poster beds, Tinkerbell/pixie dust ceiling border, and Disneyland-print bedspreads. I'm not that into the 60s modern look but they have done some cool things with it and I know it seems to be very appealing to the majority.

I like the rooms at DLH better than those at GCH, but we do 5 in a room at both and it works either way...and is crowded no matter what. Not a big deal to us, especially when you have the concierge lounge as overflow space One of the best things about DLH rooms, IMO, is that the path is very direct: go down the elevator and out the door.

Double checking my numbers, the GCH rooms average 353sf while the DLH rooms avg 390SF. While that sounds like not much of a difference, it is significant when you toss in an extra person. Think of it this way, the room is 3' longer. I am always amazed at how cramped we feel at GCH compared to the DLH.

They will. My boys would never share a bed so we always had to use the roll a away and it's very easy to fit in and store.

I've never had an issue with getting one. The last time I stayed at the DLH we fit 5 adults and two kids in a one bedroom suite. There weren't enough beds, so we asked for a roll away and were given one with no problem.
