DLH Self Parking?

We will be staying at the DLH and was wondering how difficult the self parking lot is to find? How far of a walk is it to the lobby? Will I struggle to find a place to park? Anything else I should know? Thanks for you help.

I've never had a problem finding a parking spot, though self-parking is a bit of a walk. When you check in, you can park up front and unload your luggage, then go to self-park after you've settled your paperwork. Honestly, to me the DLH is the easiest of the hotels to park at.

Great question! Along the same lines, would it be worth the extra $ for valet if I'm there with 3 kids without my H or is the check-in and then park manageable on my own?

Hi Laz ... we have stayed at the DLH several times and have never paid to valet the cars. Now I guess it's a little easy for me to say since I don't ever park the car's, but I think you would be fine to self park. I'm not even sure how much more it is to valet but the self parking is so easy that we always just use it. As beachdreamer122 stated, just pull to the front and drop everything off. I usually go check us in while DH and DS take the vehicles and park them and they are back and done before I have checked us in. The parking lot is very large you won't have a problem finding a spot and you will easily find you way to and from it. I would guess it's about a short block away from the Hotel entrance, maybe just even across the street. I'm pretty lazy about extra work and I would still self park even if DH wasn't with me.
