DLH quick service dining/Mickey Waffles

Greetings Everyone! We are planning our very first trip to DL this spring....been to WDW dozens of times! Our children love mickey waffles, which are pretty easy to find at the quick service dining locations at all the resorts. We are staying at DLH - Is there quick service dining at DLH? Where can I get mickey waffles quickly ( I don't want to do a buffet ).

I thought at first you might be able to find it at Steakhouse 55 (they do serve breakfast, but the menu says pancakes, not waffles). I know you can get it at at Storytellers Cafe in the Grand Californian and you don't have to get the buffet there. You can choose to just get waffles and you don't pay for the buffet option.

We always get room service breakfast at the Disneyland Hotel, and my kids often get the mickey waffle. I LOVE room service breakfast! There is nothing like getting waken up to fresh coffee brought to your room in the Dreams tower. Love it beyond all reason. I don't even set my alarm--I just order room service for us and make my husband answer the door in his underwear. It's perfect!

Just a word of warning- there is no "quick service" dining at DLH right now, with the exception of a little walk up coffee spot. Construction has wiped out the other options, and I don't think anything new will be open before your trip.

Your best bet for quick breakfast is either something in downtown Disney or Whitewater snacks in the GCH. Check allears for the menus- not sure if anyone has Mickey waffles.
