We are staying there on Sunday and I was wondering if there is food close by that we can get and eat at the pool?

Yes, Trader Sams/Tangaroa Terrace is right at the pool. You can get food there and take it to the pool or you can eat there.

Definitely go inside Trader Sam's if you have time and get a seat at the bar if you are able. It's a lot of fun! Kids are allowed at the tables during the day but it can be hard to get a seat.

My grandkids love to order pizza from Marris Pizza Restaurant for a pool time snack. They deliver to the Bell Services desk and you can pick it up there. We grab a few drinks from the gift shop and then lounge around the pool. It's an inexpensive way to feed the crew.

Do they have a bar at the pool?

No bar at the pool, but Trader Sam's overlooks the pools and is an easy short run if you would like a drink. Just tell the bartender that you are taking it to the pool and they will put it in plastic for you (not afancy glass cup/mug). They also have pool service in the summer/busier times (not year round unless you rent a cabana) if I'm not mistaken. We will be there Next Sunday to confirm!
