Hi All,

My family and I are staying at the DLH for a week in the Fall and I was wondering what the perks are. I think we get EE, but do we get admission to Toontown morning madness.

Thanks

What hotel are you staying at? Perks breakfast with Goffy and others. Wake up calls with Mickey bathroom has mickey hands hold the light. Tinks on the wall well the boarder. The neverland pool. Very nice at night

EE is early admission. An extra hour in the morning in DL.

Well at the DLH, you are right by the monorail and guests can use it exclusively for EE, and during part of the years also it may be only just for hotel guests.

I oftne hread about how you can have anything you bought in the parks delivered to your room so you don't have to carry things all over the place (I carry usually).

No matter what hotel you stay in, you can use the GC entrance into DCA.

On site hotel perks:
EE every day it is offered.
Packages delivered to your room from the parks.
Disney soap, shampoo etc.
Wake up calls from Mickey.
Priority monorail access (seperate line in the park I believe), plus the ability to use the monorail for EE (although there is some debate whether it is worth it for EE or not.)
Ability to use seperate enterence into Californian Adventure in the GCH.
Ability to use vacation planning services to book and PS, tours etc for you. They will also arrange for things to be left in your room e.g. gift baskets, cookies and milk, chocolate strawberries, signed photos etc.

Thanks all I can think of right now!

Just to clarify the package delivery, anything you buy will be delivered by 7:00 a.m. the next day to the bell station at the hotel (whichever onsite one you are staying at). As far as I know they will not bring them to your room directly. Its nice but for kids especially they don't usually want to wait until the next morning to have what they bought!

You also have charging privilidges. They give you a card (not your room key like the WDW onsite resorts) that is hooked to the credit card you give them and that way you can charge anything at the shops and restaurants inside the parks, World of Disney and any Disney owned restaurants at the hotels. It can be very convenient and very deadly!

Then of course as everyone says, the Disney touches, great customer service and the fact that you are staying at a hotel vs. a motel. Most of the places right near DL are motels. So at the DLH, PP or GCH, you have interior hallways, room service, full service restaurants, valet and bell services, health club access, newspaper delivery (M-F)m valet parking, laundry/dry cleaning services, bars/lounges, and probably some other things I am probably forgetting!

Thanks. I am interested in this info as well. I just got my multi day tickets and I see that they say valid for one EE. But since we are ah DLH we can go to any that they have while we are there, right?

Also, I have a special request for a refrigerator for medical reasons. Will there be a charge for this? Do they guarantee that we will have one?

Each room at the DLH has a small frig, at no extra charge.

And yes, as a hotel guest, you will have Early Entry each day its offered. Make sure you check with the hotel when you check in to make sure what days that is for your trip. When you go to the parks for EE, you must have your hotel slip (not room key but rather the slip of paper that has your name and how many people in your party, this is also your charging privilidges slip). They need to see that to confirm you are indeed an onsite guest and that the number of people you are getting in for EE is the same number of people staying in your room. You also will need to show them that for priority boarding for the monorail, although most of the time just your room key is enough. Your room key has no information about you, not even which one of the hotels you are staying at or the dates. But often the cm's accept that as enough proof that you are an onsite guest. In any case, make sure you have both, the slip and the room key! Have a great trip to Disneyland and the DLH!
