DLH Deluxe or Premium View?

My DH and I are planning our first trip to DLR together (DH's first time). I have searched quite a bit, but have been unable to figure out the difference between the deluxe and premium view at the DLH. My mom and I stayed there last October in a deluxe room and I didn't have any complaints. My only assumption is the premium views are higher up in the towers. Can anyone shed some light on the difference? TIA!

I believe that the deluxe view is of the pool on the lower (maybe 5 or below) floors while premium is higher floors. My last trip, I only booked (via DVC though so it may be different) a premium view and asked at the front desk to get a Downtown Disney view (which I received) - I also called in a couple days in advance w/ my request.

Deluxe views are floors 5-8, premium views are 9 and higher.

That's for sure not correct as you can have a premium view of the pool.

We had a standard view room. Asked for the Adventureland tower and received 5th floor with a view of DTD

Just reading the email with my quote from Disney and that is what it said. If that is incorrect- that's on the CM.

There are premium views that are pool and premium that are DTD view. They have only recently changed how they are listed. The new "Premium Downtown Disney View" is now $20 a night more than the "Premium View", which is now pool side. I actually prefer the pool view.

I would definitely choose the downtown Disney view and I am super excited they have added that. Now, if they would just make classifications for the suites so you could know what your booking!

The "Premium Downtown Disney View" room would, I assume, at least put you in the more "desirable" (I'm over quoting here) Adventure Tower as it seems those are the only rooms that truly face DTD. A "Premium View" of the pool could be any of the 3 towers. Not that that's a bad thing! We like the Frontier Tower and prefer the pool view rooms. No matter what tower you are in, you will be at the DLH and that is a truly wonderful thing!!

I don't but the photos posted in this thread http://www.disboards.com/threads/best-tower-at-disneyland-hotel.2983582/ by user @elaw are essentially our view though we were a bit lower than this. The 5th floor put us right above the trees between the Adventure tower and DTD. We could see into DTD, and the Matterhorn and the fireworks. We could also see Mickey's fun wheel in CA.

We had a premium view in the frontier tower (overlooked downtown Disney) and we had a great view of the fireworks!

Hi! I do not mean to hijack your thread, but didn't know if I should start a new thread with basically the same question!

I was wondering if anyone knew what types of views come with the 1 bedroom suites at the DLH!?

1 bedroom suites come in all views.
