I'm giving up on GC since I can't be sure, even after spending a pretty sizeable amount of money, that they wouldn't put one of my children on the floor. Are the odds pretty good that at DLH we'd get the day bed? If not, is there room for the roll away? Are the theme park concierge rooms Q/Q/probably daybed? Are all the rooms near the lounge? None are in different buildings, are they?

I do not know about the concierge rooms or daybeds, but yes you can get a roll away. It will be a tight fit, but it should work.

Are all the concierge rooms in the Sierra Tower? If we booked the Resort/Theme park view, will we absolutley get that?

I feel like I'm always being a negative commentator to you my3kids :guilty: I have not stayed at DLH, but I remember reading on the disboards that the Concierge Lounge is in the Sierra Tower, but your concierge room can be in any of the three towers -- making it a little tedious to get to the lounge often.

I tried doing a thread search, but couldn't find that post. I think it's best if you called DL planning and get the exact info before committing. Don't want you to be disappointed :)

I know I've seen an info sheet on the DLH that stated that there were 79 concierge rooms and all were located in the Sierra tower.

That said, I also remember reading here that someone booked concierge and ended up in a different tower. Maybe it was just a super busy time and not something that happens on a regular basis. :confused3

We've always gotten a room w/daybed when we have noted that request on our ressie.

We also always request Sierra tower, but it seems like that one is much tougher to get anymore. (we've been in Bonita the past couple of trips)

We don't pay for upper theme park view or concierge at DLH though, and I'm sure that would increase our chances.

You can't go by info sheets. Things change at the resort all the time. We just stayed at the DLH and I had 3 rooms reserved, all with DTD view. When we got there we realized that the rooms they had for us wouldn't fit our party and ended up taking two rooms in the Marina Tower which suited us just fine. I wanted concierge but concierge is an add on option that can go with any room which they have a limited amount of and they did not have any concierge left. On our previous stay at the DLH in January we had concierge with a suite and it was in the Marina tower, which was okay. Suites are located throughout all 3 towers and there are a limited number of them so the chances of getting concierge in a suite in the Sierra Tower is pretty slim. However, if you get a standard room with DTD view and concierge, it will give you the best shot at the Sierra Tower. Now keep in mind, we stayed in the Marina tower and although it had a parking lot view, the fireworks were amazing. Good luck!
