DLH Concierge or GCH

Approx the same price DLH concierge or GCH, which is better? The other issue is DLH is available for all 4 days of our stay v. GCH which is only available for 2. I really wanted to stay in the GCH, but since we are traveling around So. Cal wondering if we really want to switch hotels. I keep checking and hoping they will have availability but no luck so far. Is there a best time to call?

A lot depends on the dates you will be at the park. We are doing GC without conceirge, just not worth the xtra $$ for the six of us.

We stayed at the DLH for our trip in Oct '05. We always stay concierge level at WDW and we think it is very worth it for service and perks... but we didn't feel this way at DL. There was less for the staff to do (ADRs/PS, show tickets), the rooms were the same as standard rooms, and the food offerings in the lounge, while good, weren't worth the extra money. We did enjoy the hotel and we'd stay there again without a second thought. It wasn't themed elaborately like we are used to with WDW resorts, but it had its own charm (maybe because of its history).

I'm not sure if the GCH has a better 'set-up' for concierge level guests. We'll stay at GCH next summer, but not concierge level. We like the separate park entry for hotel guests!

I always do congierge when I go to DW but this time I went standard at the GC. I loved it, concierge wasnt worth it for me for 5 days. ICG was high priced for concierge and I couldn't eat enough snack food, breakfast food and even liquior or beer to even get close to my cost. I hope I wrote that the right way so you can understand. Oh BTW there was only 2 of us going

If i was going to spend the same $, I would go DLH concierge because for our family it really is enough food to make a big difference in what we spend. The glass elevator is fun too
