DLH and PP - 5 in a room

Both DLH and PP will let me book a room for 5. The descriptions say 2 queen beds and 1 daybed. What are the daybeds like? Is there room to put a twin aerobed on the floor? Also, do these hotels offer a AAA discount? Thanks for the help!

At PP, the 5th person sleeps in something resembling a pull-out couch. It's big enough for a kid for sure. I think for an adult it would depend on the size of the adult. If you don't use the "daybed", there's definitely room for a small aerobed. I don't know the dimensions of the rooms, but PPH rooms feel bigger at least when you have 5 people.

When we stayed at PP this past April we pulled out the sleeper sofa to see what it looked like out of curiosity. We never had to use it but it seemed comfortable enough (with a short lay down on it lol). I'm 5'10" and I probably had about 2" or so of clearance to the foot of the bed. I'm sure Kids would find it fine to sleep in, adults well mileage may vary on that one.

The PP bed is comfy IMO. PPH rooms are nice and big.

I was impressed with the quality of the daybed. The mattress/seat area of the couch flips over. It doesn't take up additional floor space, IIRC. It seemed to be a better-than-average mattress for a sofabed.

AAA discounts were discontinued earlier this year.

My son LOVES the daybed. He's only 8 and fits in it very well. I would say smaller adults would fit fine as well. It's comfy and the sheets at PPH are good quality, very soft and cool after a long day of walking.

My younger daughter is 25, and is usually the one who gets the couch. She likes it. Bed is plenty big enough for her. We were at the DLH this weekend and had an air mattress on the floor with no issue.
