DLH after check out time

I am full of questions today....

So I seem to think I have read that even after you check out they give you some magic card that still allows you to use the pools, etc.

So here is our deal...

We are arriving EARLY on Wednesday, like be to DLH by 8-9 am, so we will drop our bags, check in, head to DCA to get WOC tickets and do DCA (will they give us our keys so we can go in the CGH entrance?)

On the day of check out our plane doesn't leave until 9 p.m., so we want to do MM, go back to the hotel, chill by the pool, SHOWER, get dressed, etc. Can we do this after check-out? Where can we shower???

When you check in they will give you your hotel room key cards with your names and dates, which you can use for park entry, parking, and at the pools (if anybody asks) from the check in date (midnight) to the check out date (midnight). You'll have all the privileges of staying at the hotel as long as you have that key whether or not you have your room. (They will text/call with your room # when it is ready and your key will be digitally programmed to work on that door.)

Just store your stuff with bell services until your room is ready. (And have cash on hand for tips!)

Not sure if there's any place to shower/change as we usually plan our pool days for the middle of our trip and max out in the parks on check in and check out day.

Our first trip staying at the GCH we arrived ridiculously early since we drove down after trick or treating on Halloween, made it faster than we thought and checked in around 3:30 or 4a instead of the 7a we'd aimed for and it was no problem for them, we still got our key cards and that time they had our room ready by 11a.

Pretty sure there are no showers... We haven't done this at DLH, but did at GCH, and there aren't even very convenient restrooms near the pool at GCH, you have to leave the pool area completely... so we got cleaned up the best we could with the sink and changed in a bathroom stall... I was just careful in the pool not to get my hair wet, and then we showered at home that night before bed. Sorry, I know that isn't much help... I paid one year for late check out, but that was only good till 4 pm.

I recently changed into my suit at DLH pool, and I do not remember seeing showers. Or even proper changing areas, I had to use a stall. But I might have missed something.

Quick call to the hotel and found out that there are no showers - just the outdoor shower by the pool. All you could do is rinse the chlorine out and then use the pool bathrooms to change.
