My wife and I are WDW vets, but we are DL rookies, so I have a question: we are staying at the Disneyland Hotel for a few days in early June. My parents are driving over from Las Vegas on Sat, the 14th to meet us for lunch. They will be arriving in
the Aniheim area between 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Just how bad will the traffic be? Is Downtown Disney the best place for them to park? Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

Usually the traffic is not bad on Saturdays. I have never done it by it is my understanding one can park for free at DTD for five hours. Not sure how busy the parking will be. If worst comes to worst they may have to park at Mickey & Friends and pay the $11 for the day. Have a fun visit. :goodvibes

Traffic really shouldn't be a problem. It's a good idea for them to either park at DTD or even at the hotel. You may want to call your hotel ahead of time and ask about guest parking. I know DTD offers the first three hours free but anything after that requires validation from a restuarant in the area.
