Hellooooo fellow Disney Geeks!!!
So first time to the world. I'm so heppy!! I suppose I should share the details cause I know your just dying for them
.
So they're me. Mom and wife. I'm the one behind the camera so there are not any pictures of me. Super disney geek, goofy is my hero.
DH. No people skills, doesn't do crowds or heat well. I've got a great idea, lets drag him to Disneyworld!!!
I love him, he takes care of us, but I think someone killed his imagination. Always accuses me of living in la-la-land. However, he loves us, too, and is willing to take one for the team so the rest of us la-la-land dwellers can have a good time.
DD10. Total drama diva, and very much a girly-girl. I think she was more excited to go on a plane than the idea of a trip to the world. DL is only a 6 hour drive away.
DD3. My Little Monkey. He's a big kid, he could easily pass as a 4 year old. He's very solid and very strong. Like a typical boy, he could give the energizer bunny a run for his money.
DSis. She's coming along as a sitter for the little ones. In the past, DH and I could never to anything together. One of us would always have to stay back with the kids (mostly DS). We figured if we're gonna drop a significant chunk of change, we might as well enjoy ourselves, too.
The plan: As you can see from my ticker, we're going in early October and are going to the halloween party.
We're flying out of Sacramento and are going to use Happy limo for transportation to our hotel. Right now the hotel is Buena Vista Suites. Before I run for cover, let me explain our choice for off-site sleeping quarters. Mostly price. We don't plan to spend a lot of time in our hotel and do not want to pay for extra cool disney stuff we are not going to use. DS is to wiggly for table service places, I'll be lucky if Chef Mickeys turns out to be a success. Stroller rental trough Orlando Stroller Rental. Transportation to and from the parks will be provided by the hotel.
Coming from CA, we are going to need a day to fly in and a day to fly out. The Halloween party will be on a day we don't go to the parks. A six day no hoper pass for the rest of the vacation. The first four days will be at each park, the remaing days will be up to the kids to choose.
Being first timers, I would welcome any advise reguarding my plans or suggesting anything I missed. I have a few questions also and I'll have more as the trip comes more into plan. Like, is it esential to resserve Chef Mickey's six months out? Can DS bring a filled sippy cup on an airplane?

. We tried the costume on in the store. It was a little long in the leg, but nothing I couldn't take care of. We get home and try on the inflatable proton back and run into trouble. The pack is way to big!! We sinched it as tight as it would go, it still slides off. The costume is no fun without the pack, so back to the halloween store for an exchange. DS chooses Spiderman. We try on the costume in the store and it's a perfect fit. We get home and try on the mask, and the mask is too small.
So, another trip to the halloween store. Got the other spinderman costume. This one is a little long in the leg and lights up
hurray!!! We have a keeper.
. I have also learned from our experiances at Minnie's Plaza and Goofy's Kitchen: the kids eat cerial. I don't want to pay $28/per kid if they only eat cerial.
I just noticed the link in your ticker.
. I'll have my LGMH buttons on something so you can spot us if you decide to meet up.
. I meant that I will shower the night before departure instead of morning of (like normal) just so I can have that little extra sleep. Mornings are not my friends
