It's a funny thing....
I was born in Southern CA and grew up going to Disneyland. When I was 10, we moved all the way to TN. After college, I moved to Florida to work at WDW where I had done their college program. I spent over 8 years as a WDW CM until I got married this past November and my new husband, a software engineer, got a job in Silicon Valley- so you guessed it- I'm back in CA! Only this time, I'm about 6 hrs north of a Disney park...
Oh, the Disney withdrawal!
Thankfully, I still have family in LA.
I haven't made it back to DL yet since moving here. I'm thinking October- my birthday is on the 20th, and I've spent the last several birthdays at one of the Florida parks. I'd really like to try the west coast equivalent to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party that I used to go to every year, although I don't think one of those will fall on my actual birthday since it's going to be on a Saturday.
You know, even though I spend so many years at WDW...I have to say that my heart has always belonged to DL. There's just something special about the original- the only Disney theme park that one can state Walt was there.
