DL to Knotts

I have read the transportation threads from DL to Knotts and I am still confused. I have looked at the maps provided and I don't understand. I guess I am directionally challenged.

Could someone explain in very simple terms how to take the bus to Knotts. Is Knotts North or south of DL? And exactly what stop do I get off for knotts. I haven't ridden busses much, but don't think I can afford a taxi like I took last time. Will the driver say this is the stop for Knotts, or how will I know which stop? i'm worried I wont get off on the right stop and not know where to go.

I will be staying at the Tropicana if that helps you guys to explain the best place to go to catch the bus.

I'm sorry, I can't remember all the details (I'm sure that someone else will be able to assist with that), but I do know that when we took the bus 5 or 6 years ago, it was super easy. We knew which bus number we wanted, but still asked the driver if it would take us to Knott's. She assured us that it would, and told us which stop it would be. She also told us that when returning to DLR, we would pick the bus up at a stop across the street, and she pointed it out to us.

If these country bumpkins from rural Alberta can do it, so can you!!!

Catch bus 460 in front of the DL main entrance on Harbor and get off at the NE corner of Beach Blvd/La Palma in Buena Park. Catch the bus back on the SE corner of Beach Blvd/La Palma. Get off at the same stop you got on at in front of DL.

I took the ART bus from the Disneyland Transportation Center to Knott's Berry Farm and back and it was inexpensive and fairly convenient. You get dropped off right in front of the Knott's Berry Farm hotel and you just walk next door to the park entrance.
