I've never been to DL and I've alway's thought WDW is better. I like the whole bubble thing. But the podcast really has made rethink this. I think there a trip to DL in my future. So of course this show is going to be filed away in my iTunes keeper file. ;)

Trust me when I say Disneyland is well worth the visit. Being from the west coast I've been many times, and having been to WDW, too, there is greatness in both places. You'd love Disneyland. It is truly a treasure. If you have any questions I'd love to answer them if your interested in going to Disneyland!:flower3:

I know this might seem ridiculous...but I'd be afraid of being disppointed in the "smallness" of DL. For my DW and I, we love being enveloped by the atmosphere of WDW. We like the fact that, if you stay on property, you can't get away. It just seems like DL is a "commuter" park...you know, like some colleges are commuter colleges and some are really full of people not from anywhere near there...KWIM??

Like I said, though...probably ridiculous!

There is something about being in Walt's place. Walking by his apartment and seeing the light on (it was only on when he was in the park when he was alive - now it remains lit as his spirit is always in the park). There's something about being where it all started.

Pete said: Disneyland isn't the same - just different. Indiana Jones is next to the Jungle Cruise, the Matterhorn ride is a blast and so much more. The CM's are wonderful to talk to. Many have been around for decades and know a ton.

If you visit with an open mind and heart, you will love it. Just don't go on Sunday. Southern California residents can get annual passes (good on many Sundays) so the park is much more crowded then.

BTW- thanks Pete for saying such nice things about San Diego. And you are right, if you are not confident enough to drive on the freeways you'd better stay off of them. The speed limit is mostly 65 - but it's treated more like a suggestion.

I am listening to the DL podcast as I type, I believe Walter need to do more shows.
