Originally I had planned on doing DL on Monday 5/23 and DCA on Tues 5/24 because without having EE on our tickets we usually try to avoid the park with EE. But.... I see that there is a grad night on Monday at DCA and DL has been crazy busy on Mondays lately so maybe DCA would be better on Monday and DL on Tues.

What do you guys think? We want to avoid the crowds but we also want the chance to get fastpasses for Radiator Springs. Going to the park on EE means we get in at regular time and the crowds are already building before we get there. That scares me a lot!

Give me your best which park/which day advice! Thanks!

I'm assuming park hopping isn't an option for you?

If that's the case than....if it were me, I'd probably save Disneyland for a non-Grad night day because I've heard it can get crazy. I can't speak from personal experience though so hopefully others will chime in.

I would keep it the way you originally planned. Avoiding the EMH park is essential lately, and DL feels crowded no matter what lately because they're running it so low capacity.

Eta: I haven't been there in the evening for a Grad Night lately, so I can't speak to that.

I was having the same dilemma for those same dates. We decided with DL on Monday, CA for Tuesday. We were thinking that Monday will be busy no matter what we decide but Tuesday at CA should be fairly calm. I'm just going on what I've researched on forums from past years, not from personal experience.

Thanks for the responses. Yes, I will keep it with the original plan. DL on Monday, DCA on Tuesday and hope for the best. Park hoppers are out of the question for us. We are trying to do this trip on a budget. We are lucky we get to go at all. There was no plan to go a few weeks ago and my mom was like- Lets go to DL! So she's taking her daughters and grandkids. Guys are staying home. Going to be so fun though! My teens are beyond excited!
