DL or California Adventure?

We will be at DL for a day while spending the holidays in CA. Just wondering if we should do DL or California Adventure with teen boys? Is there enough at California Adventure to keep us busy for a full day? We were at DL last Christmas, but didn't get in too many rides due to crowd levels and the fact we had small kids with us. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Personally, my favorite non little kid rides are at Disney CA. As far as if it is enough for a day... that depends on how many times they may want to repeat. I love Screamin, Tower of Terror and Soarin. Those are my favorites between both parks.

If you only have one day, I would invest in a park hopper and do both parks. Both parks have amazing attractions so it would make more sense to try and do the best of both.


Start your morning at DL (make sure you are there at open) around noonish to 1ish (after lunch) head over to DCA. Spend the afternoon in DCA and then go back to DL in the evening. THis is what I do even when I am there for 4 or 5 days.


DCA is fun, but in my opinion, there is not enough to keep me occupied for the entire day. Despite this, I do love DCA, and would not want to miss it if I could avoid it.

Get a park hopper. There is great stuff in both parks. If you have to choose then I would choose DCA due to the demographics of your party.
