Hello All,

I have been to WDW numerous times in the past, but now looking to go to DL at the end of october this year. I know in wdw its considered a less- crowded time to go , does the same hold true for DL? .. also - is DL like WDW in that you have to make all of your dining reservations in advance?... Also what are some other differneces - besides size ...

thanks!

You should really read the DLR guide for WDW vets.

Crowdwise it's a bit mixed. Halloween parties are usually on Tuesday and Friday. This fills the parks in the evening on those days. Weekends are always busy. Midweek then being Monday, Wednesday and Thursday are pretty quiet but have short hours and limited entertainment. It's good to mix a weekend and weekdays to get it all in. 3-4 days is a good visit length.

Reservations can be made 60 days out, although for most days a month, week or even day ahead works fine. The only trouble you may have is getting a meal in the park in the evening on a party night.

Please read the thread I linked above.
