Ok - well close. I am a WDW veteran and go almost every year, but am meeting for a girls weekend at DL and the group is looking to me as usual. So, I'm trying to learn the ropes quickly.

I know at MK the best plan is to get there for early open and run to Fantasyland and then on to Frontierland for SplM and BTMR when the rope drops to get the most rides in in the morning.

We all love Fantasyland - but Matterhorn and IJ are both high on the list too. Suggestions for first 2-3 hours in the park please??? Goal is to hit rides quickly in the morning so we can relax for the rest of the day.

Help appreciated!!!

Matterhorn does not have FP, so it is a good one to ride early along with most of the other FL rides. It often works well to grab a FP for Indy, get in the stand by line, then use your FP. And, the same trick works well for SM.
So the take home point is to stay on site, and take advantage of MM every day it is offered!

Tinksassy-

You will have a great time!! I'm with the last post. Hit Indi quickly, and fast pass it too for later on in the day. The thing with Matterhorn is, is that no matter how long the line, it never waits past 30 minutes, (except maybe peak and full capacity...never) so that one isn't too bad. Here's what we do.

Run in, fast pass indi, and go on it. Hit haunted mansion, then splash in the morning. I know it sucks to get wet, but better than waiting in such a long line. Then we hit Big Thunder. We usually wait to do Pirates until we need a little time to sit since its nice and relaxing, then we go get fast passes for Space Mountain and hit Buzz Lightyear really quick and then do Fantasyland.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions!
