DL in April?

DH and I have never been to DL, but are planning a visit this year. We would like to avoid crowds and don't care about attending the 50th celebrations. Would mid to late April be a good time to visit? We were thinking something like the 17th to the 23rd. Thanks!

For avoiding crowds, I think that would be a great time to visit. It's after Spring Break, a couple of weeks before the 50th celebration starts, and the weather should be nice. The only downside is that there will probably be a lot of closures while they put the finishing touches on everything for the 50th. I don't know that for a fact, but I do know that the castle will be closed. (Which may, or may not be a big deal).
