It's not like at WDW - where the resorts are spread out so far that it is best to aim for a certain building. The hotel towers are set up on three sides of a square, with the pool in the middle. (Conference Center and restaurants are the fourth side.)
That being said, Dreams Tower doesn't really have any Standard View Rooms. All rooms either face the pool or DTD and the parks.
Magic and Wonder are your option, Magic is the building you check into. But then you miss the cool waterfalls that you can listen to at night and walk past all the time, when you are in the Wonder (directly opposite the Magic). They are about 800 feet apart - give or take.
