Has anyone taking the DL Holiday Tour?

We took it Saturday and were very disappointed. Not sure if it was the CM giving the tour or the fact that the park was extremely crowded.

The tour consisted of visiting 4 attractions that anyone could do, we just had fast pass priviliages and or priority seating. On the way to the different attractions, our CM would stop and tell you something about Christmas celebrations. Nothing really disney related. The attractions visited were Nightmare before Xmas, Minnie's Merry Christmas Party, Christmas parade and It's a Small world (which we missed because the crowds were too big and could not fit it in the alloted time).

We had 2 people in wheelchairs in our tour and our guide did not seem prepared for that. She almost lost us several times in the crowds (not always telling us where she was heading before taking off), the people in the wheelchair could not see her flag and when we got to an attraction, she did not know how to deal with wheelchair guests at the attraction. We received 2 fastpass to be used that day because we were not happy with how the tour went. Just wondering how anyone elses experience was?

How was the Minnie x-mas show, unfortuanly it wasnt playing when we were there??

The Minnie show was very cute. One of the better character shows lately at DL. It is geared towards small kids and those young at heart that love the holiday time. There is a suprise the end!!!

We heard the opposite from a couple we talked to who had went on the tour. You get quick access to the Holiday specific atractions which can be hard to get into without some planning and you get reserved seating (chairs even) for the Holiday parade and the fireworks. Very worth it in their opinion.

We took it a week ago today, and thought it was worth every penny. I will have to say in all the tours we have taken both at DL and WDW this CM was probably the worst. We thought, however, that with the incredibly large crowds that the ability to get right on Haunted Mansion and Small World, coupled with front row seats at Minnie's Christmas Party and priority seating for the parade made it well worth the money. The wait at Haunted Mansion was 80" and we walked right on. They let us in first for Minnie's Christmas Party and served cookies and hot chocolate in souvenier mugs while we waited. Then they took us to 3 rows of chairs in front of It's a Small World to watch the parade. It was great. As far as obtaining any great Disney info or trivia, you won't get any. Again it may have been our CM. Overall, however, we would highly recommend it.
