DL, Genie, park reservations??

Hey y'all, a couple questions..its been about 3 years since my last visit to DL. Planning on using MEP,if available, in May. We used to just show MEP and go in with guest and that was it. How is it done now? Do we link MEP to self and guest? How do we purchqse LL ? And how do we link? Thanks in advance...J

So....I played around with genie and it seems like there 8s a prompt to link tickets just like when it was called Max pass...am I correct?

You can make reservations here: https://compadmission.disney.com/reservations for Self-Admit and/or MEP. Each MEP reservation is good for you (or spouse/partner) + the number of guests you're allotted. One reservation automatically covers the maximum number of people you're entitled to bring with you. At the turnstile, they'll ask you how many total are attending that day.

In the last few weeks, DL started releasing dates one at a time, 60 days in advance. If they're still using that method in March, you can mark your calendar for when to book your reservations accordingly. Historically, Saturdays have never been available. Sundays go quick. Disneyland reservations go first but increasingly, DCA is becoming a preferred park for many. No park hopping with MEP.

I have no firsthand experience with LL, but since you don't get a ticket barcode to link until it's printed at the turnstile for you (for MEP reservations), I'd imagine you have to do it upon entry? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.

Going two months ago, I could not put anything in ahead of time to use virtual queue. So sadly, you have to wait until you scan in and get a physical ticket to do anything if you're using your MEP!

FYI, DLR park hopper reservations can now be made with MEP. Park hopping privileges start at 1pm. Single park reservations will also be available.

Just adding to this older thread. At WDW, if a CM has a resort hotel reservation, you can reserve more than 3 days worth of park reservations. (I have done it). Sweet.

At DL, they seem to hold to the 3 day MEP limit (at one time) on park reservations. At least they told me this when I called. (we are staying at VGC and DL Hotel in Spetember). So I am using comps a couple days, but will try to get more than 3 once my days open up to book to confirm this.
