So we are WDW veterans and have booked 4 nights at VGC next July for our first DL experience. As we plan on spending all our time in DL we are not hiring a car (like we would at WDW) so can you please recommend the best way of getting to and from LAX?

Our flight arrives mid afternoon but we have a morning (8.30am) flight out.

Thanks :goodvibes

I use www.supershuttle.com A shared van shuttle service, costs around $34 per adult for LAX to Disney return. I book online in advance and print out the confirmation. There is a pick up and drop off point at each terminal.

We useD Super shuttle too. Depending on your group size you may be able to get their private van for a good price. We had a group of 8. Car seats are needed if you have kids for it.

I've used Supershuttle and the Disneyland express before. Supershuttle is very convenient because the pick up times are more tailored to your arrival/departure times versus the set schedule of the Express. We waited an hour at the pick up point for the Disneyland express last trip and won't waste our time like that again. The bus is nicer mind you and if you have little ones you won't need car seats.

Kids with car seats: Use Disneyland Resort Express. Can't remember the price off the top of my head (it's been a few years since we've flown into LAX), maybe $40 round trip, and some kids are free (can't remember if it's one kid, two, or maybe even 3 per paying adult).

No car seats: Whatever shuttle company you prefer.

I'll give you a bit of a warning: Don't do a cab. Seriously. $100 from LAX to the hotel. Yup. One way. Boom--$100 (plus tip!) gone in an instant. Holy cow, I wish we had known before we did that!

Use Lyft. The estimated fare was 44. I understand they are allowed to pick up at Lax now

Does it matter where you're staying? We're at the Desert Inn and Suites, so hoped that SuperShuttle works for us as well.
