If you were working around the 6pm early closure of DCA on Sept 25th?

We have 4 day park hopper tickets. We were planning Monday:DL, Tuesday: DL with MM, Wednesday: DCA, and Thursday: DCA. Thursday is the early closure day.

Should we hop over to DL when DCA closes and catch the parade? Or will it be way too crowded with a bunch of people from DCA also going to DL?

Or should we switch our days around and do Thursday at DL using our MM on that day instead?

I've learned to use the Magic Morning the first opportunity of our trip. The times we have saved it for the end of the trip, I found everyone was too tired to get up. So I'd keep your MM on Tuesday.

On Thursday, since you know DCA is closing early, move over to DL before the Closing Crowd does.

Thursday is a Non EE day for DCA and you'll be able to experience rope drop. If this is something you like. My group loves regular rope drop at the parks.

Thanks for the insights!

I think you're right and we'll probably follow your advice. What time do you think would be good to head to DL on Thursday?

If your plan was to spend the entire day in DCA (originally), I would stick to that plan. Stay in DCA until it closes and then hop over to DL. The calendar is not yet out for the 25th, but early in the month, the parade was at 7:00 pm. So you should be able to get from DCA to DL in time for that (as long as you don't get into a long ride line right when DCA closes).
