Hello Everyone! I am going to be in Anaheim from December 17-21, I have already purchased 4 day park hoppers, and a 1 day pass with free shuttle to Universal Studios. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what days I should go to Disneyland and what day I should go to Universal Studios. I can't go to Universal Studios on Monday (I arrive at 8:05 am at SNA) or on Friday (plane departs at 9:00 pm) so that leaves Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Thank you all so much!

Here's what I'd do and why:

M-DL or if you arrive after your flight a tad later than expected, you can start at DCA. Either way the parks shouldn't be that crowded.

T-DL for Early Entry. This is because it's early in your trip and you won't be as tired. Plus it will be less crowded than Th, your other possible EE day.

W-DL at opening. No EE so everything is fair game for everyone at opening.

Th-USH because this is another EE day. Assuming you're not staying onsite (or purchased tickets from getawaytoday.com or other 2EE ticket sources), you only get 1 EE day. This means that you won't want to enter DL an hour before a lot of people, especially because by Thursday the crowds will be starting to pick up. The days earlier will be less crowded, as the crowd level increases with each day during the week before Christmas (I went last year).

F-Hit your favorites at DL/DCA one more time before heading home. It is also not an EE day, but it will be getting very crowded by then, so be sure to get there at opening!
