I am thinking seriously of taking a trip with my sister and mother next October to either DL/DCA or WDW. My sister would more than likely use a w/c. Her legs are just too weak to handle the large amount of walking that would happen. Anyhow... wondering which one seems to be more friendly with w/c. TIA.

here is my DL/DCA trip report.

if you have a choice, I really can't see why you would go to DL. sure, there are plenty of reasons why it is special and different from WDW. but there is a decent amount of overlap, there are lots of extra things at WDW, and WDW really has its act together re wc guests. yes, there may be glitches at WDW now and then, but WDW is a different world than DL for people with accessibility needs. maybe things will change at DL, but my experience seems pretty much in line with that of other DL wc guests (at least, those who visit this board). thus, my vote is hands down WDW.

Well in my opinion you'll have about a rough of time at DL as MK and EP as they were all built before ADA friendly was a manditory word whereas DCA, Studios and DAK were all built accessible

I think both DL and WDW are wonderful places and each has their own strengths and weaknesses.WDW has more shows than DL but DL is the original and most rides are better than there wdw counterpart
