DL Christmas Events - Beginning Date

Hi! Trying to plan my first trip to DL in November with a friend, and I'm trying to find out the first day the of the xmas celebration. Hoping it will start on Nov 16th. Also do you think they will also light the castle like they did last year? Thanks so much!

I don't see why they wouldn't be lighting the castle again this year. I remember last year a lot of the decorations were up by the middle of November. I don't know when exactly the Christmas Parade starts or fireworks start though.

I think the reason you aren't getting a lot of responses to this is because last year they threw us all off by starting the Christmas entertainment a week late. If I were to base it on last year's dates, I would guess they will start the parades/fireworks, etc. on the 21st. They will have the tree up the week before, and most the decorations, but the delayed the ent. until the Friday before Thanksgiving in 2007. Of course, this is just a best guess.
