Any experiences with Dizzy Dolphin anybody want to share?

How does the process work? Were you happy with the service? Were the prices fair?

I have used Garden Grocer about 10 times, but am looking for something new.

We used Dizzy Dolphin and were very happy with them.

Basically, you fill out an online form listing all of the items you want and desired quantity. If you want/need a specific brand/size, etc., you can make note of that, and we found that they followed those requests. We were traveling with someone with celiac, so many of the items had to be gluten free. They were excellent about ensuring the requested GF items were actually gluten free, even when the brand we requested wasn't available.

I believe there is a minimum order of $50, plus a delivery fee of $14 (unless your order is over $250, then the $14 fee is waived). It seems like they just had standardized prices for the items, not necessarily reflecting what the actual paid amounts were. We found those prices to be pretty fair though.

They give you the ability to request a quote before you place your order, so you know what you're getting into. You can then add/subtract items aaftwr seeing your quote. We considered the fee/minor price markup to be worth what it would have cost us to get the groceries ourselves, and other delivery companies seemed like they would have been more for our same order.

Overall, we were happy with their communication and service and would definitely use them again.

Will they deliver "adult beverages" with your grocery order ??

Safeway delivers and is great, we used them in November with no issues.

When I enter the address for the Disney Hotel (Animal Kingdom VIilas) it tells me that the area is not serviced.

Thank you very much. That is great information. :)

We have always used Garden Grocer, but overall we think they are very expensive.

Hmm, we used them at Old Key West. Did you have to pick a store first or anything? Let me look at my account and see what it says.

Okay, I show my address on there as Old Key West. I'll try AKL and see what happens.

Did you go to New Customer Grocery Delivery and put in the Lake Buena Vista zip code 32830? That should work.

We used Dizzy Dolphin last spring and were very pleased with their price and their service was outstanding! Dizzy is custom-they will get you anything you want including personalized cakes, donuts, bagels from Panera and of course regular groceries. We just needed regular groceries. They responded with a quote within 24hours after I sent my detailed list of exactly what I wanted. We have dietary restrictions and Dizzy was awesome in ensuring that all our items were gluten free and exactly what we had ordered. We have used Garden Grocer in the past but I would use Dizzy again and thought their service was more personalized. Highly recommend.
