Yes, you eat while you are watching the show. The seating is in long rows with tables running the length of each row. The food is really good, IMO, best of all the dinner shows, and I've been to Medieval, Pirates, Sleuths and Arabian.
For February, you do have some time to plan so you can wait a bit before reserving, even waiting until mid-late January to see if Dixie is running any specials following the holiday season. As far as ticket discounts, if you are a member of AAA, the AAA Florida offices have great prices on vouchers for Dixie but I'm not sure if that would be convenient for you.

It all depends on what kind of experience you're looking for. You can get the extra goodies, or not spend anything beyone your admission and tip. They are not the least bit agressive in trying to get you to buy the pictures, or anything else.
