My parents havenever gotten divorced, but when there fighting my dad will say that he is going to leave. But never does. I get scared.

Yup, that's right. It's official. My parents are filing for divorce.

I won't say what happened last night, my family found it rather embarassing. But that little situation hit the switch.

I don't know when it's going to happen. All I know is that it's in the next few weeks, and it won't be easy, especially on my five year old brother who doesn't understand. It'll be tricky explaining to him why "mommy and daddy can't live in our house" and why "mommy and daddy yell all the time"

I feel bad for making a whole thread on it.

So, any advice, or similar situations?

my parents got divorced when i was...5?

at the time i really didnt understand what was going on, but now i realize that the choice was for the best.

both my parents r alot happier now

My parents divorced before I was even 2. So it hasn't really effected me. As far back as I can remember I've had two houses.
