Hey everyone! Just thought I'd drop in and say, "Hi!" It's been a rough week and I'm about 20 pages behind on here already! I started the Biggest Loser on the W.I.S.H. section of the forums. This is my first week, and I lost 3.8 lbs! With any luck, nobody will recognize me (at least not right away) at the 2012 meet & greet :-)

Way to go :cheer2:

Also, someone posted online of Tron vinylmations. They look so cool :)

I don't think they are out yet but are supposed to come out some time this year I believe.

Too cute - luv it!

That sounds like a good idea - I've never been to Hungry Bear :upsidedow

I saw the fried green tomato sandwich yesterday. Someone posted a pic online and I was like  :rotfl: I want to try it! The cupcake looks so cute! :) I'm glad they changed the menu. I ate there a few months ago and the food was not tasty. I'm hoping that this new one is better :)

I was thinking the same thing - that fried green tomato sandwich does look yummy :thumbsup2

Chris, Very sorry for your loss. :grouphug: I'm just making it a group hug because you know we are all sending you one.

Thank you all so much for your condolences and hugs. It does help ease the pain.

I lost my Mom a year ago in January, and my Dad last week. They were married for 65 years and were wonderful role models. Dad lived a very full 94 years. He stayed sharp minded and in fairly good health to the end. I will miss him very much.

It was so nice to be able to have lunch with Beth, the day after Dad died. It was good to experience her support & hugs in person. And it was great to see her, since she missed the Girls Trip this year.
I am looking forward to the diversion of going to WDW next week.

I really appreciate all my wonderful Diva friends. Big Hugs to you all.

TGIF ladies!!!!

This week actually went by fairly quickly for me. Hopefully the weekend goes by slooooowly. ;)

Anyone have any fun plans for the weekend already lined up? :cool1:

OKay, time to play catch up now.............

 We have Fred Meyer which is Kroeger, I bet they have it, I am so going there tonight
If you don't see it, ask because on the package it said it was a new flavor. It's not the Deluxe ice cream in the blue packaging, it's the Private Selection ice cream in the black and gray packaging. Good luck.

Brooke has 2 teeth now! She is chewing away with those little chompers.
Awww, I love little baby teeth. Did she have much pain when she was teething?

So glad you liked the goodies !
We're looking forward to seeing you too, hopefully before the next big trip.
:goodvibes
I hope so, Trudi! Hopefully I'll be in CA in June, and/or at DL in October. :)

We'll be out of town this weekend, DH's best friend turned 50 today, so we are going to their place for the weekend. He doesn't know we are coming. They live about 3 hours away.
What a nice surprise, Lisa. Safe travels and have fun!

Mommy & Daddy are having Irish Whisky and Baileys all is peaceful in Montana.
Ahhh, that sounds nice. :goodvibes

I really did keep an eye out on the door to see if you were going to sneak in that night.......but heavy sigh...you did not. Glad you got some goodies to snack on!!!!
Awww, thanks Laurie. I wish I could've snuck in there. But it just didn't work out. Next time I'll be there with bells on! :thumbsup2

Diva's, please keep Chris in your prayers. She went to Vegas to see her dad, and he passed away while she was there :( She is home now.
She leaves in a few days for her birthday trip in WDW by herself....luckily myself and 2 of our favorite WDW Diva's (Dagny & Lauren) are able to join her for a few days of her trip, next week :)
I was with her the day after and I'm so grateful I was able to give her some hugs in person and spend some time with her. She's very much looking forward to getting away and spending time with you all. Hope you all have a nice time. :wizard:

Beth, Did you get a chance to make anything special for the kids yesterday? :shamrock:
No. Darn my picky kids. They just weren't having it. They wanted tacos!!! :rotfl2: Oh well. We did go out for Shamrock shakes. Ruben and Adam love those.

Hi Marie, sorry to hear you've had a rough week. I hate those! But congrats on the weight loss! I saw some of your pics on FB and I have to say you are already gorgeous! ::yes::

I'm glad you like it! I :lovestruc the new packaging for some of the Disneyland candy.
Me too!!! Someone needs to get a raise for that. It's so clever.
I hope some race spots open up for you. :cheer2: I read about it in a local paper the other day. Apparently it will be the first time they close the Strip at night. Usually the race is held in the morning. Sounds fun!!

I'm so sleepy this morning... I went to the gym at midnight and came home around 1am. :faint: I had to work out though. My hip hop class was cancelled yesterday and I don't want to slack off when it comes to going to the gym.
Where on earth do you get your dedication????? :worship: :worship: :worship: And can you send some my way?? PLEASE! lol

YES!! I'm totally on board with that. I love the Hungry Bear location and we'd sometimes eat there as a family even if the food wasn't great, just because sitting on the back of the upper deck it's so peaceful.
Someone needs to volunteer to go sample some of the new menu and let us know what they think. :thumbsup2

ETA: The more I look at the menu and pics, the more I love this idea. What about meeting here for either the lunch on Thursday instead of Rancho which is good but we've done that twice already. OR meeting here after the scavenger hunt. There is lots of seating, upstairs and down, unless they've revamped it and I don't know about it. I just think we should try and work it in somewhere......

Aww, thanks Chris. I agree, it was wonderful to catch up with you.

65 years of marriage is really something special. I know we both talked about being married to our high school sweeties and I hope we are both lucky enough to make it that far! I'll keep reminding Ruben I need someone to drive the RV. ;) lol

Enjoy WDW. I know you will.

Big hugs to Chris.
I know how hard it is to lose a loved one.
And isn't Beth the hostess-with-the-mostest when we are in Vegas?

I cannot wait to try HB restaurant and their new menu.
I love sweet potato fries and the chicken sandwich sounds yummo!

Bree & I want to eat there next time we go (April - with the ginorous spring break crowds:scared1:).

Happy Friday everyone. It's been a long week for me with the time change.

Jen, What a fun night for the youth. I have never seen that movie. Maybe one of these days I will look it up. :thumbsup2

What?!:scared1: This movie is older than me - a classic comedy. You have got to see it :)

Marie~ Great job! :cheer2:

Rochelle~ Perry in Mickey Ears?! Doofinshmirtz would never recognize him. I love it!

Happy Friday!

Big hugs to Chris.

Aw, stop. You'll make me blush. I love it when people come out to Vegas! And I love how whenever I am able to travel to CA all you "local gals" make a special trip out to meet up as often as you can. :grouphug:

I'm curious to hear what you and Bree think of the menu. I hope it's good as it would be a nice place to add to our schedule. I love fried green tomatoes. Mmm. Take some pics if you are able. :thumbsup2 Thanks!

Oh, and I did find more info and menu prices here:

Just stopping in to say hi ladies!
I've been home sick with strep throat and my ds6 has bronchitis and an ear infection so I've been catching up on your trip reports and pictures. It looked like a fun trip and I'm considering coming next year! I haven't been posting much lately because my hubby finally said yes to WDW and I was so busy on the other boards that I didn't make it here enough. We went in February and had a great time but I really missed DL and so did my kids.

Where on earth do you get your dedication????? :worship: :worship: :worship: And can you send some my way?? PLEASE! lol

This is my motivation ---->

:teeth: :rotfl: I just go by how my clothes fit. I dropped 4 pant sizes and don't want to gain it all back! :scared1: lol. The hip hop class helps because it's fun for me. :) My motivation is not wanting to gain my weight back. lol.

I used to eat Mc Donald's every single day and Jack In the Box. It's been almost a year now and I haven't eaten at either places. It's pretty cool and surprisingly, I don't miss it. I try to eat things or at places where it's not greasy or oily. Panera, Souplantation, a Greek place near me, I love Persian kabob and it's grilled and not greasy. :)

LOVE this idea...LOVE sweet potato fries and better for you too LOVE that Colton likes these we do them all the time...I will def be eating there in Oct but since there are many things on the menu that I want to try totally up for again in February! What a great place that would be to hang out after the scavenger hunt...I LOVE sitting there although their food was generally blah they have a nice location!

And I hope you come next year! By the way, I loved checking out all your trip pics on FB.

That's amazing, Rochelle. Good for you. :cheer2:
It's no fun to gain it all back! Trust me, I know. :sad2: Keep up the great work. :cheer2:

That's what I was thinking. Plenty of room to sit, and a relaxing location.

Good morning, divas!
Hey Wendall! Have a good weekend. :goodvibes
