I really want this shirt. It would be perfect for a pink day.....well, except that it says 2011 on it. But I'd still wear it.

That's when you can go all kinds of tacky and write in your own 2 over the 1! Is it sad that I do that on cards a lot?

I know, I'm a strange one. It's why I love Disneyland in the summer, but I haven't been able to go for a while. The last day of my birthday trip in 2010 it got around 110 I think. I loved it. The day of the Scavvy Hunt this year was nice and warm/hot. It was great but I did not pack appropriately for it so I was suffering. I like the heat when I can prepare for it.

But I get cold very, very, very easily.

Afternoon gals!!

I liked the shirts from the first meet (eventhough I wasn't at it LOL) but I agree the brighter colors tend to stand out more I think. I know when we all wear red those really stand out!! Not saying we need to wear red again but just an example.

That is a great pic you posted Sarah of Mel and Rochelle and I did not know that was Bernice and Megan. I am assuming Funny Garcia and Staley??? I didn't know they went on the first trip. That is awesome!! I wish they would come again. Did Allison come as well? Gosh it would be great to get them all on the trip again!! They are lots of fun!

Beth that is a bummer I am going to miss you in Oct I kind of figured you would go on a weekend closer to your birthday but the weekend that we picked my mom thought would be "somewhat" less crowded although I seriously doubt that ANY weekend in Oct esp with the parties will be less crowded! But her logic is it is AFTER Columbus day and before halloween whereas the following weekend is much closer. Don't know if that logic holds any water but who knows!

Anywho I am sure glad to be home. It has rained off and on all day and it just yucko out! Dh is going to take Shelby to piano so I am officially home for the day!!

The girls both completed their reading for this trimester (it is a long story but they have to read so many books within a time frame and if they DO they qualify for a party). Well tomorrow is the party and Shelby's teacher asked me to volunteer so I will be doing that tomorrow. Could be scary. Me and a few other parents and 140 4th and 5th graders. EEK!!

Next week is Katy's trip to SF so I am REALLY looking forward to that!!

I know right !!! My plan is to go home disinfect the house (so none of the kids get sick), make something quick for dinner and go to bed. The good thing with me is that when I get sick, it's usually only for a day or two at the most . I just want to be better for tomorrow so I can go to Disneyland .

Or teal with the chocolate/brown I'll make campaign buttons for teal shirts if I have to!

I remember a group of us going to Bug's Land to cool down in the water and they didn't even have it on! Callie's friend, (at least I think it was Callie's friend...Ellen?) took off her shoes and pretended to "splash" around in the teeniest little puddle that just happened to be there. It was funny.

I remember that! None of us could believe they shut off the water during the hottest day ever in spring . Hey, but at least we remembered that trip LOL.

You sound like my sister-in-law. If it drops down into the 70's she's freezing and will wear her thermals.
I'm the opposite. If it gets above 75, I start to get uncomfortable.
