What weekend will you be there?

Well, this will be sort of a birthday present for myself. My birthday is October 24 which is a Monday, so I'm probably going to go the weekend before that, the 21st-23rd.

I don't have an AP and probably don't want to spend the $$$ on a one day park hopper, so I'm thinking about just hanging out in DTD during the day, maybe hanging at the pool depending on the weather, and then going to the Halloween party as soon as it opens.

Not 100% sure on my plans, but my dates are pretty set. I'm excited! I love Halloween, and I'll get to wear a birthday button.

I am going to make a section for mini meets and links to other Diva threads such as the current Easter exchange. We used to have our own Diva WISH thread, but it sort of died out. If anyone is interested in starting a new one, let me know and I will link it as well.

So if anyone gets lost, remember.....always check the front page. And in fact to make it even easier, I put a "Front Page Index" in the very first post so you know exactly where to scroll down to. Hope that helps everyone!

Laurie I am not sure about the other Oct mini meet but we are going on the 13th (I orig said the 14th but I need to put on my stupid glasses sheesh, the thurs is the 13th!!) We will be in the parks that Fri through Mon. I know Sherri is going then and I was hoping to convince some of the local divas to come meet us for whatever time they could and hopefully if any other divas can make it that would be awesome!!

Thanx Kelly......I really want to go & take the 4 littles, but Mike keeps growling saying we don't have money to go twice in a year......ah thee of little faith.......lol Gonna do my darndest....really want to go see the decorations!!

I want Beth to post pictures of the scavenger hunt teams on the first page. All of your costumes, tags and so forth were so cute, and it would be nice for everyone to see.

Morning all. I woke up a few hours ago, actually. But then decided it wasn't working out so well so I went back to sleep. I really need to find something to do on my days off, it gets ridiculous when I'm suddenly spending half of the day in bed. The cats like it though.

I pink!! I personally hope we keep a pink day on the next trip. But that's just me being selfish.

I was like you on my first trip! Right away I saw Trudi and Sarah, and went up to where they were standing and sort of pretended not to know them and commented on their pins. Then I finally told them who I was. Why?? I dunno. Just shy I guess.

I remember this...at first I didn't know who you were.

Yay. 7 more names down, only about 8 more to go I think. Or maybe 10. I dunno, but I'll get them before work tomorrow. I need to think about getting some sleep before I go in to work at 10p.

Ok, I'm getting confused & the thread is moving way too fast......what weekend in October is there a Mini Meet???? I think I've read two different weekends.

The one I am involved in looks like it is leaning toward the weekend of October 15th & 16th as a few of us have trips overlapping that weekend and some locals have said they can make it too.

OOH! Good Point! How do I do that? Hmm...off to figure it out.

Right click on the sig in Jess's PM. Click Save As... and save to your computer. Go to Photobucket and upload the saved siggy. then post into your user CP as you would with any other pic from Photobucket. Worked for me.

I love the color combos, but I think brown is one of those colors that is too hard to spot and just blends in a little. I thought the most successful color day (well, that I was there) this year was the pink shirts. I was spotting everyone left and right. Well, it felt that way, lol. I'm sure the lime green was easy to spot as well but I wasn't there Thursday. The purple would have been so, so, so much better had it not been for the fact it seemed to be the choice color of the day for everyone, lol.

Bright colors really do seem to work well, don't they?

Sarah, I'll definitely make you one with Ariel and purple.

I like teal! I really like the idea of teal as our group t-shirt color, provided it goes well with the design of course.
I think it's one of those colors that looks nice on a fair number of people too.

Callie's friend, (at least I think it was Callie's friend...Ellen?) took off her shoes and pretended to "splash" around in the teeniest little puddle that just happened to be there. It was funny.
